What you move
In close collaboration with all stakeholders, you develop warehouse process strategies and concepts using end-to-end approaches and actively contribute to their implementation.
You implement measures in a targeted manner, ensuring that existing warehouse processes are improved, new processes are optimally implemented, and properly documented for future reference.
You analyze and understand the needs of the stakeholders and identify where improvements are necessary based on the available data.
You are responsible not only for the processes in day-to-day operations but also fully engage in strategic and cross-departmental projects, such as the development of new fulfillment centers.
This role involves the creation of tender documents as well as the analysis and development of business requirements including measurement and evaluation of deliverables against success metrics.
You will create, execute and track test cases to ensure thorough process performance and quality.
Collaboration with all interest groups is particularly important to you. You work closely with our product, data and IT organization, customer service and our fulfillment centers.
What you will bring
min. 5 years' professional experience in
supply chain management, logistics or a closely related field
Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)
Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with focus on Supply Chain Management or Logistics
English (Fluent)
German (Very good knowledge)
French (Advantageous)
Profound expertise in SCM, logistics, and in manual, semi-automated, and automated warehouse processes with a strong understanding of technology and at least 5 years of professional experience.
Proficiency in process management, process engineering, requirements engineering and continuous improvement.
Higher education degree (FH/Uni) in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain Management or Logistics (or a comparable field of study).
Experience in agile project management with an affinity for supply chain and automation projects and a strong hands-on mentality.
You find it easy to understand and unite different perspectives, grasp complex interrelationships, and explain them clearly.
Very good oral and written skills in German and/or French. English skills (at least C1 level) are mandatory.
Willingness to regularly visit Migros Online locations (approximately 40% travel).
Understanding eCommerce, particularly the eGrocery market in Switzerland.
