Training programmes
Our lateral entry programmes are aimed at people with different professional backgrounds and offer the opportunity to move into a new sector or start a new career. This allows career changers to acquire new knowledge and at the same time develop their existing skills and experience in a new area.
Meat/fish section career
Do you enjoy advising our customers on meat and fish at the counter? Do you have experience with food and enjoy cooking? Then this programme is just right for you.
In the first phase of the programme, you will start in the self-service area for three months and get to know the product range and processes. We will then train you for 3-4 months on our internal butchery programme.
You will learn cutting techniques and the anatomy of the animals and can apply what you have learnt directly at the counter.
Floristry section career
As a specialist floristry sales assistant, you will put together creative bouquets, flower arrangements and decorations and help advise our customers. During your training, you will get to know us and your specialist field better.
You will also receive an individual support programme and will be closely supervised by your line manager. You will benefit from structured and practical training, many benefits and discounts.
