Trainee programme

Category Management trainee programme
Category Management at Migros Supermarkt AG comprises two directorates that manage the Migros product ranges efficiently and cost-consciously. Procurement sources products from our own companies, strong partners and international suppliers. The Food Directorate focuses on naturals and optimises products such as bakery and dairy products. The Near/Non Food Directorate is responsible for areas such as personal care, household and clothing.
Finance trainee programme
The Finance Department of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives manages the financial activities of the entire Group. It supports management, ensures data integrity, provides tax law expertise and manages central insurance policies. It also supports Mergers & Acquisitions and looks after the Migros pension fund. The Treasury Directorate handles cash management, currency hedging and financing solutions for all Group companies.
Purchasing trainee programme
The Food Directorate of Migros Supermarkt AG guarantees customer satisfaction through a centralised goods process. It supports every item of the Migros product range, sourcing and purchasing from around the world, and optimises the supply chain efficiently and cost-effectively for various product categories. Marketing & Communications trainee programme
The trainee programme at Migros Supermarkt AG offers comprehensive insights into marketing and communications, including sales promotion and brand management. The aim is to prepare for a successful career within the Migros Group.
IT trainee programme
The Federation of Migros Cooperatives' Operations Technology arm comprises Group IT, Digital Business and Analytics. These central IT service providers develop solutions along the entire value chain, including big data analyses for Cumulus, checkout software and encrypted communication. Around 1,000 specialists ensure Migros' success through innovation, state-of-the-art technology and a focus on service.
Supply Chain Management trainee programme
Logistics is a core competence of the Migros Group and plays a key role in almost every company. Every day, numerous orders are processed in the logistics and transport business, supplemented by comprehensive professional services. This also includes logistics for online and cross-channel providers to ensure efficient processes. The Migros Distribution Centre (MDC) acts as the central hub.
Business Development trainee programme
The Business Development trainee programme supports companies with a wide range of business models, from stationary concepts to online providers and cross-channel formats. We promote the digital transformation of the Migros Group and act as an innovation pacesetter.
