Our apprenticeships
Retail specialist EFZ (Consumer Electronics)
In this position, you're surrounded by technology all day long. You're always the first to see the latest laptops and smartphones and you advise customers and help them find the right product.

Specialist in operational maintenance EFZ
This job is extremely varied - you'll make sure that everything runs smoothly in our buildings and facilities

Customer service specialist EFZ
In this job, you communicate with many people every day. You have to be competent yet personal.

Computer scientist EFZ (Application development)
You will create programs for online shops, accounting systems, machine control systems and much more.

As a logistics specialist, you ensure an optimal flow of goods. Driving a forklift truck is also part of the job!

Apprenticeship in Germany – Neuenburg am Rhein

From August 2027, Galaxus will offer apprenticeships in Germany for the first time.
At the new logistics site in Neuenburg am Rhein – right on the Rhine, between Freiburg and Basel – one of the region’s most modern logistics centres is currently being built. From summer 2027, apprenticeship positions will be offered for the professions of warehouse operator and warehouse logistics specialist.
The site is new, the warehouse is large and the technology is state of the art. Anyone who starts their apprenticeship here will be involved from the very beginning – and will help build something new. Galaxus is not looking for temporary apprentices, but for skilled professionals who want to stay after completing their apprenticeship. Those who impress will have real opportunities to be taken on permanently.
Applications will be possible from autumn 2026. The apprenticeship positions will then be published here .

The application process for apprenticeships
Application
- Letter of application
- Curriculum vitae with current photo
- Complete copies of the last 4 semester reports
- Copies of trial reports, job references, etc.
- Copies of language courses, PC courses
In the navigation bar under “Apprenticeships”, you can see which apprenticeships are still available at any time. If you find a suitable position, apply directly online.
Evaluation & Interview
- If we're impressed with your application, we'll invite you to an interview.
- If the interview is a success, you'll complete a trial apprenticeship in your chosen apprenticeship.
Decision
- If the feedback from both sides is positive, the contract can be prepared. You'll receive a confirmation from us by telephone.
- If you drop out of the application process, you'll receive a substantiated rejection from us.
- We'll invite you and your parents to the signing of the apprenticeship contract. This will also give your parents the opportunity to get to know the company and the contact person/s for your apprenticeship.

Trial apprenticeship? 🔎
We’re not currently offering one-day work experience placements. However, depending on your specialism, we do offer one to four-day trial apprenticeships to candidates who’ve successfully completed an interview.
Trial apprenticeship in logistics 📦
Are you still unsure whether training in logistics is right for you? Can't quite picture what everyday life as a logistics specialist looks like? Want to make sure that logistics is the right choice for you?
Come and spend an afternoon with us at our large, modern warehouse in Wohlen. We'll show you what our logistics trainees do all day, what tasks they perform, and what they learn in the process.
The following date is currently planned:
- Tuesday, June 30 2026
The event will take place if we receive between five and twenty registrations. As soon as we know that the event will take place, we will send you a confirmation with detailed information about the schedule (at least two weeks before the event).
If too few people register, we will contact you and, if possible, reschedule you for one of the other dates.

This offer is aimed at students in grades 5 to 8. It is designed to provide an insight into the profession of logistics specialist and help students decide whether the profession is right for them and whether they would like to do a three-year apprenticeship.
