As Logistics Site Manager, you will have overall responsibility for both sites and will manage ON1 and ON2 from both a strategic and operational perspective. The ON1 Site Manager reports directly to you. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure the efficiency and further development of our logistics processes.

What you move

Main task

Overall responsibility for the Neuenburg am Rhein logistics site, comprising the two logistics centres ON1 and ON2

Main task

Development and implementation of the strategic direction for the entire site, based on Galaxus’s business requirements and growth targets

Main task

Establishment of a strong management team capable of meeting the requirements of both sites, while fostering collaboration between the ON1 and ON2 teams

Main task

Responsibility for the operational and strategic management of all logistics processes, including support functions such as Facility Management, Health & Safety, and Quality

Main task

Continuous analysis and optimisation of processes to reduce costs, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction

Main task

Monitoring of automated systems at ON2, with close collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure operational readiness

Main task

Development and tracking of KPIs to ensure and further improve the performance and efficiency of both sites

Main task

Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and industry standards

Main task

Promotion of a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive continuous improvement

What you will bring

Several years of management experience across multiple levels

ideally in a highly automated logistics environment

Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)

Logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field

English (Business fluent)

Mandatory

Experience with modern ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS), as well as a strong affinity for automation and technology

Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple levels

Fluent in English and either German or French; basic knowledge of the other language is required
