What you move
You’re part of a Software Engineering Scrum team working on Order Management & Finance domains
You lead the evolution and maintenance of our document interpretation solution, a distributed system that classifies documents and extracts structured data from PDFs using Vision Language Models
You take ownership of the evaluation pipeline and ensure correctness in our scoring functions
You stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends (e.g. latest LLM developments) to continuously enhance our solution
You're the Python specialist in a team of C# engineers. You mentor teammates on Python best practices and are ready to ramp up across the broader stack to contribute end to end.
What you will bring
3-5+ years
Software Engineering
Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college)
English (Advantageous)
Degree in computer science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent professional experience
3-5+ years experience working experience as a software engineer or ML Engineer with Python as main programming language. Additionally, you have expertise in either Java or C#
You have experience integrating LLMs/VLMs in your solutions that solved real business problems. You've also invested in evaluating those solutions, proving correctness and surfacing metrics relevant to business stakeholders
Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (bonus points if you’ve already worked with Google BigQuery) and knowledge in data orchestration frameworks (e.g. Dagster, Airflow)
Experience with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g. Azure Service Bus, Kafka)
You’re a product-minded engineer with the ability to identify new opportunities to raise the automation rate of our solutions
Familiarity with DevOps mindset and technologies (e.g. GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.)
Work proficiency in English, German is a plus
A willingness to challenge «how things have always been done» and propose more efficient, automated or effective solutions
